Small Business Champion

Small businesses are the life-blood of individuals who feed their families through hard work, despite the difficulties of running a company single handed.  Sometimes these guys grow to larger businesses but most of the time they remain loyal to their roots, giving outstanding service while remaining value for money without huge capitalist greed and paying their taxes.

We have a little family of those where we are based, at Lower Grove Farm, and below are some small highlights of those and other small businesses we have come across with the same Customer Service First attitudes.

Brian & Matt run BM Gas after years of being self employed in the Plumbing and Heating Sector.  You couldn’t find two greater friends giving back to the community while running their small business.  Based in the same business centre as IDSL, BM Gas cover all domestic & commercial plumbing and heating requirements from servicing to full installations.  All their engineers are time served and certified gas-safe.

Another company created by a group of engineers who “banded together” and started a small business to service the community.  Cableworx Electrical can service all of your domestic and commercial electrical needs with full NICEIC certification at reasonable prices.

One of those old fashioned skilled jobs that big business nearly killed off in the nineties.  A sign-writing company that embraced technology to make sure they stayed in the game while the times and techniques changed around them.  Image Perception can accept artwork in multiple formats, or create it for you with their design team to make your business shine through livery and signage.

The relatively new artform of concrete pressing and stencilling gives you a mosaic or patio or patterned driveway artistically done for a fraction of the price of the real thing.  Creative Concrete and Creative Home Designs have got you covered.
